Applying to EMSS for the first time?

EMSS gives learners the opportunity to strengthen their Mathematics and Physical Sciences skills through additional academic support, online learning and regular in-person sessions.

Who can apply?

To apply to join EMSS as a new learner, you must:

  • Attend an approved EMSS feeder school within one of the programme’s regions.
  • Meet the academic requirements for entry into the programme.
  • Be able to attend the compulsory monthly in-person sessions.
  • Commit to completing the required online assignments and assessments.
  • Participate in the programme’s mentor engagements.
  • Have the support of a parent or guardian, who will also need to accept the programme Terms & Conditions if you are offered a place.

Children of Engen employees: Learners whose parent or guardian is an Engen employee may apply even if they do not attend an EMSS feeder school or live within an EMSS region. Their eligibility is subject to confirmation by Engen.
